Alright, some thoughts on tonight’s Glee episode. Ready? Here we go!
In no particular order, other than when they come into my mind:
- So…I’m not exactly what you’d call a big MJ fan, nor am I all that inspired by him, but I did definitely grow up listening to him since my dad was a fan of his music. So I’m pretty much familiar with his songs, so it’s nice to hear them from different takes.
- When I first saw Blaine get hit with that slushie and what his reaction was like…I immediately thought, such a drama queen. I mean, all the other members have been slushied before…get over it. But then there was rock salt, nevermind. LOL
- There’s a lot of singing going on in this episode. Which I really like. Sometimes Glee is just losing that musical touch.
- QUINN! QUINN! QUINN! So glad to hear her sing again! I can’t believe it, she still sounds amazing. Also, I felt like I could relate to her storyline so much in this episode. As in, going away for school, leaving behind your friends, your old life, your past—however good or bad it may have been.
- So much Santana love. I can never hate that <3
- I actually enjoyed ‘Ben’. I mean, I’m not that big of a fan of those three, but Kurt and Finn actually sound good together. I’d like to see another duet from them.
- Sebastian voice, at least from what I heard in ‘Smooth Criminal’, sounds like Puck’s, but higher, with a touch of Sam’s breathiness. I’m not sure if it was right for that song, it seemed too clean. I’d like to hear him sing a different song to judge whether I actually like it or not though.
- That ‘Smooth Criminal’ number! DAMN! Santana and Sebastian definitely should have kissed after. Switch teams, just for each other. I feel sexual tension that needs to be listened to!!
- I love that they paid homage to the ‘Black or White’ video! It was pretty funny though, seeing the in-betweens of some of the cast members, like Quinn+Artie, LOL While some of them made sense having go after each other, like Rory+Kurt
